Save the Children in Uganda is a leading voice for child rights, implementing programs that have a lasting impact on children in Uganda. The organisation is a unification of Save the Children Norway (managing member), Save the Children Denmark, Save the Children USA, Save the Children UK and Save the Children Italy programs.
Save the Children in Uganda implements a broad range of emergency, recovery and development programs which cover 26 districts in the northern, eastern, central and western regions of Uganda. Save the Children has been working for the well-being of children in Uganda since 1959.
Save the Children envisions a Uganda in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. Our mission is to fight for children’s rights and to deliver immediate and lasting improvements to children's lives in Uganda. We are politically and religiously neutral and non-sectarian. |
